12 Days

I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with our boys.  However, what allows me to do so is John's job, which unfortunately requires a fair bit of travel.  He left this morning for a trip to D.C. and he won't be back until December 16th.  I've been dreading this trip since the summer of 2009 when he first found out about it.  We'll be fine, I'm sure, but I sure miss my other half when he's gone.  Include us, and him, in your prayers if you can!

To fill our afternoon after Henry's nap today, we're going to go help Aunt Katie chop down her Christmas tree.  It's cold today, 28 degrees, but with a good amount of bundling we'll be fine.  Henry will love being outside; the kid is obsessed with the outdoors.
